It's USAFA Graduation week, which means it is the week the Thunderbirds will be practicing and performing- a true treat for our entire city! Here are the details on when you can catch the Thunderbirds in action this week:
Tuesday, May 27, 2025: The Thunderbirds will arrive in Colorado Springs on Tuesday and will complete a survey mission between noon and 2:30 p.m. before landing at Peterson Air Force Base. The survey mission will be conducted over USAFA.
Wednesday, May 28, 2025: The Thunderbirds will practice their graduation hat toss flyover of Falcons Stadium from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by their air show practice from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday, May 29, 2025: The Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform a 30-minute air show

Live Music in Colorado Springs at the Ford Amphitheater
Residents of Colorado Springs have had to travel to Denver for seemingly decades to attend concerts at outdoor venues like Fiddlers Green, Red Rocks, and even Coors Field. Last summer, that all changed when the Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs opened its doors. Much to residents’ delight, One Republic opened the venue, and a host of big names have continued to book concerts at this unique outdoor venue located just outside of the United States Air Force Academy.
