The Best Halloween Activities in and around Colorado Springs

It's October, which means we are officially counting down the days until Halloween! Colorado Springs has SO many fun activities happening this month, and we asked our Realtors at MilitaryHomeSearch.com to share their favorite October Halloween activities with you.

Lauren Schneider loves the relaxing fall festival at Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City. Enjoy pumpkin painting, balloon animals, face painters, crafts, and performances from local dance studios on Saturday, 10/19, from noon-4pm. Renee Young recommends taking your family to Boo at the Zoo, where you can wear your Halloween costumes, explore the zoo at night, and enjoy a unique trick or treating experience. Stephanie Bushnell says to head on over to Manitou Springs on Saturday 10/26 at 10am for the famous Emma Crawford Coffin Races. Enjoy live music and watch the long-standing tradition of the coffin races right down the 1900 block of Manitou Ave. You can even build your own coffin and participate in the race! Cindie Debski loves taking her family to all of the city's Trunk or Treats, which are happening now thru Halloween, and put on by various schools, churches, sports clubs, and businesses. You can find a Trunk or Treat almost every weekend by searching Facebook, and here are a few of our favorites:
