Red Leg Brewing Company

Address: Red Leg Brewing Company, 4630 Forge Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Red Leg Brewing Company was founded by Todd Baldwin on the 4th of July in 2013. Baldwin was an Artillery Officer in the United States Army and served 15 months in Iraq and is now a member of the Veterans Beer Alliance, a nonprofit that associates and represents veteran-owned breweries, vendors, distributors, and retailers. Red Leg is openly proud to serve those who served, and even the name of the company is inspired by veterans of the past. "Red Leg" refers to red stripes that artillery soldiers wore on their pant leg during the Civil War to indicate their position. Red Leg brews their own lager, kolsch, hefeweizen, amber, brown ale, and IPA, so they have a homemade brew for almost all beer palates.

He is the brains behind many of Peaks n Pines' original recipes, and enjoys experimenting with different flavor combinations.

Peaks n Pines serves 16 original brews, ranging from the ginger-heavy Ginger Not Mary Anne or Droofin Coo Scottish Ale to their Coconut Vanilla Back Country Brown and their corn-based Picos y Pinos Mexican Lager. Peaks n Pines has a playfulness and curiosity with their flavors that is hard to come by.
