Beaver Creek Ski Resort offers reduced lift tickets for active duty and retired military. If you're active duty, you can get your discounted lift tickets at the mountain. Veterans can get discounted tickets on one of the bases in The Springs.
Beaver Creek is three hours northwest of The Springs and offers a challenging mix of terrain, perfect for those who like sticking to the green runs or performing high-flying stunts in the park.
Ski at one of the most frequented resorts in the county! Breckenridge also offers reduced lift tickets for active duty and retired military. Similar to Beaver Creek, retirees will need to get their discounted passes from one of the bases in Colorado Springs. Whether you're knee-deep in powder or enjoying a hot cup of cocoa in town, Breckenridge offers a surreal alpine atmosphere that will leave you yearning to come back for more.
At just two hour drive from Colorado Springs, it's also one of the closest resorts for military families.
One of the best military ski discounts that can be found in Colorado is available at Wolf Creek Ski Area. The resort, located in Pagosa Springs near the Colorado-New Mexico border, offers discounted daily tickets for active duty military and their families too. In addition, daily lift tickets are discounted, with even lower prices available for children and seniors. The resort itself is a great place to go spend a day on the slopes with ski instructors available and full lodge nearby to relax and warm up afterward.

With three mountains and endless things to do, this winter wonderland has something for everyone in the family. Keystone is just two-and-a-half hours from The Springs, so it's a reasonable distance for the amount of activities you can do.
Just like Breckenridge and Beaver Creek, Keystone offers discounts for active duty and veterans, and they also feature a Liberty Pass and Liberty Honor Pass which are season passes for active duty and retired veterans respectively.
Rocky Mountain Blue is the result of a USAF partnership with Keystone Mountain that serves various members of the DoD, including active duty military, reserve, national guard, retired military, and their immediate families and friends. The lift ticket discounts are only available to those who have booked lodging at Keystone through Rocky Mountain Blue.
If you're looking to hone your skills, Vail is the place to do it. Nearly 82% of their runs are rated for intermediate to advanced riders, and they have three terrain parks for every stage of trick development. It's Swiss-style architecture will make you feel as though you're visiting a resort on the other side of the world, when really you're just three hours from home.
Experience one of Colorado's oldest and greats ski resorts – Winter Park. In its 75 years of operation, this resort has expanded to include 3,081 acres of challenging terrain that's perfect for everyone from first-time riders to Olympic champions. Winter Park offers reduced prices on lift tickets and rentals, and there are also Armed Forces Appreciation Days on Wednesdays.
They also offer a Patriot Pass for active duty and veterans who have served for at least 20 years. These passes are a great option if you plan to visit the resort quite frequently.
