Katlyn has been so helpful to my husband and I since day 1 of us deciding we wanted to start looking for homes. She reached out shortly after I started my search on militaryhomesearch when I was still living in Texas. I knew NOTHING about buying a home and went into this thinking it would be possible that someone could take advantage of my lack of knowledge. But katlyn did just the opposite and went out of her way to make sure my husband and I knew what we were doing and signing and looking into. She helped break down every single question we had and gave us quick, detailed responses through text, email, and video chats.
Even as we were closing on our house the sellers were giving us a hard time with the resolution/fixes that needed to be made on our property, and katlyn made sure they kept their side of the bargain and fought for us to get those fixes made. Like I said, she goes above and beyond for her clients.
She is truly amazing at what she does and works so hard to help you to the best of her ability. We really enjoyed working with her & would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for an amazing agent!

I am originally from Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Central Michigan University, where I earned a BS in Sociology and Public Administration. After graduating, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, and spent 3 years working for the State of North Carolina in Courthouse Administration. While this provided me with the ability to connect with people everyday, I wanted a career path that I could take anywhere as a military spouse. I made the leap into real estate and haven't looked back! I spent 2 years with RE/MAX in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, NC real estate market and worked extensively with military and former military clientele. My husband was transferred to Fort Carson to join 10th Special Forces Group and we couldn't be happier to call Colorado Springs our home. We used the Military Home Search Team to purchase our house and were blown away by the professionalism, hard work and diligence of the MHS Team! It was a no-brainer decision to join the Military Home Search Team to help other families buy and sell their homes. As a military spouse myself, I understand the stresses of a PCS move and will do everything I can to mitigate the pressures of a relocation. I am extremely detail-oriented and dedicated to ensuring my clients have a smooth and stress-free transaction in both buying and selling.
