Holiday Greetings from the MHS Team

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Seasons Greetings, Clients and friends!

I have to start by saying we absolutely loved seeing nearly 400 MHS friends at our Annual Christmas Party on December 1st at The Summit Interquest.  Between bowling, laser tag, brunch, games, and giveaways, the party flew by in the blink of an eye!  In addition to seeing so many clients between closings, pop by visits, and client events this year, we have also been receiving so many amazing holiday cards in the mail from everyone.  They are so fun to open and read, so we are returning the favor, from the MHS family.

Here is our holiday letter to you!

Brooke Hancock

Let's start with our Client Care Coordinator and Licensed Assistant, Brooke Hancock. Brooke, and husband, Dale, had a busy and exciting year.

Brooke hit her one-year anniversary with the company this year, and as a result, she took on a new challenge and became licensed. She has been an integral part of our success this year, helping with client conversion, client gifts, and not to be forgotten, the all-important party planning. 

Meanwhile, Dale graduated Sapper School and Brooke was able to make a surprise visit to attend his graduation ceremony.  Congrats, Dale!  The two enjoyed a once in a lifetime trip to Ireland this past Spring and returned with enviable pictures, stories, and memories. They continue to be excellent dog parents!

Bill Mills

Bill joined our team in the Spring and he came on with a background in retail operations, finance, and sales. Bill quickly garnered the nickname "New Bill", and we have been slow to let it go. Bill had a huge first year with the company, and quickly became recognized for his ability to connect with clients and earn their trust. 

In October, Bill got married in a beautiful outdoor setting in Vail, CO, among the gorgeous fall colors.  Bill and his wife, Brandi, enjoyed an incredible honeymoon river cruise in Europe.  They are parents to little white fluffball, Bella, and hopefully will expand their family soon- we keep asking!  We are really glad to have Bill on our team!

  

 Erica Archambault

Erica Archambault, our longest standing team member, had a very eventful year as well.  Erica entered the year engaged to her sweetheart, Will, and 2018 was filled with bridal showers, a bachelorette party,  and a gorgeous outdoor wedding in September at Flying Horse Country Club. Our entire team was able to attend! 

Erica's then fiance, now husband, managed to surprise her with a trip to Orlando, pre-wedding.  They have not honeymooned yet- but are actively researching locations for a 2019 honeymoon!  Erica and Will's three kids, Connor, Bri, and Olivia, stayed very busy with soccer, volleyball, and figure skating, and all of the Dr. visits that come with it.  Right now, two out of three are in casts, but on the mend! Erica continued to crush it at work and help a record number of families. 

Erica is super valued and we love having her on our team.

Susanne McCall

Susanne McCall, our Operations Assistant, joined the team in early 2018 and she has been such an amazing addition. Susanne helps the team with contract execution, listing preparations, and keeping agents on task and on schedule, at all times!  She also literally never misses a day of work.

Susanne comes with an impressive background in management, and with previous real estate experience as well.  She is a mom of four kids, and eight adorable grandkids, with another expected to arrive shortly (we can't wait)!  Her husband, Don, is a Navy veteran and works for Lockheed Martin.

Lauren Schneider

Last up, me!

This year, my daughter, Brooke, started preschool, and found a passion for dance. She now takes four dance classes a week and is about to do her second recital of the year. My son, Braeden, turned one, and loves practicing his left-handed pitches (my husband loves that).  My husband, Grant, landed at his forever home this year, Movement Mortgage. We are all so excited to bring Movement Mortgage to Colorado Springs- truly an amazing company with amazing leadership, and a killer VA loan product.

Grant and I celebrated our 5^th wedding anniversary in Napa, and enjoyed “too many” Rockies baseball games as a family.  We also welcomed a new au pair to our family, Vivien, from Germany.  We are so excited for 2019 and have big plans for our businesses!

As a company, MHS helped over 200 families this year, with over 500 families helped to date.  I am most proud that this year, MHS was able to donate $15,000 to a charity that truly touches our hearts, Angels of America’s Fallen.  Grant and Movement Mortgage were able to donate an additional $15,000, bringing our grand total between our family, Movement, and MHS, to $30,000!! 

We hope to top that next year!
