It's USAFA Graduation week, which means it is the week the Thunderbirds will be practicing and performing- a true treat for our entire city! Here are the details on when you can catch the Thunderbirds in action this week:
Tuesday, May 27, 2025: The Thunderbirds will arrive in Colorado Springs on Tuesday and will complete a survey mission between noon and 2:30 p.m. before landing at Peterson Air Force Base. The survey mission will be conducted over USAFA.
Wednesday, May 28, 2025: The Thunderbirds will practice their graduation hat toss flyover of Falcons Stadium from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by their air show practice from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday, May 29, 2025: The Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform a 30-minute air show
