Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo ignites the community with a dazzling display of 60-plus unique lighted sculptures and strategically placed illuminated strands. There will be larger-than-life inflatable animals lit up throughout the zoo, and this display has been noted as the best zoo lights in the US many times by USA TODAY.
Santa Claus will be on-site for photo ops and to accept those wish lists. Several zones of the zoo will be open to allow visitors the chance to stop by and see the various animals. Make Some Noise at STOMP
The Pikes Peak Center For The Performing Arts will be alive with action at this year's production of STOMP, which has been in production for more than 5,000 performances. This brilliant show combines a story with percussion instruments and phenomenal dancers. This Broadway show has numerous awards and rave reviews, and for good reasons.
The stage is taken over by conventional and non-conventional drumming featuring everything from garbage cans to matchboxes with unique sound influences from lighters, brooms, and hubcaps. Come and see what the noise is all about at this two-day showing of STOMP.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will appear at the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center with a presentation of Who's That With the Red Hat? in mid-December 2021. Come by for candy canes and complimentary treat bags, and an exceptional puppeteering performance replete with singing and dancing. Kids can make a craft to take home or hang on the tree at the center for others to enjoy. Bring a camera to take a commemorative photo with Santa!
Join the fun and festivities at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center at the Winter Wonderland with the Wolves event on December 19th. There will be warm drinks and plenty of breakfast burritos with entry so that guests can enjoy breakfast with the animals. Reservations are required for this extraordinary holiday event.
Experience the Magic of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella
The classic fairy tale Cinderella will bring magic onto the stage at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College on December 12. The original story of enchantment has been modernized a bit, so be ready for a few surprises and plot twists. Watch as Cinderella overcomes tragic circumstances to end up with a better life happily ever after with Prince Charming. The music score is fantastic, and everyone is sure to have a great time at the show.
